Football coach Paul Brown is best known for the innovative coaching techniques that he developed throughout his long and successful career.

Synopsis

Born in Norwalk, Ohio, on September 7, 1908, Paul Brown had a long and successful career as a football team owner, head coach and general manager. He started his career coaching at The Ohio State University, but became known as an innovator in football when he started working with the Cleveland Browns. Many of his former players went on to become successful coaches in the NFL. Brown was named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1967. Brown died in Cincinnati, Ohio, on August 5, 1991.
