Shirley Booth

Tony, Oscar and Golden Globe-winning actress Shirley Booth was in both the play and film versions of Come Back, Little Sheba, and the television show Hazel.

Synopsis

Shirley Booth was born on August 30, 1898, in New York City. From the 1930s through the early 1950s, she was in numerous Broadway plays, including Come Back, Little Sheba. In 1952, she starred in the movie version. During the 1960s, she played the title role on the television series Hazel. In the 1970s she was Grace Simpson on A Touch of Grace. She died October 16, 1992 in North Chatham, Massachusetts.
