Lee Hazlewood

American singer-songwriter and music producer Lee Hazlewood was a pioneer in the musical genre of country rock and wrote “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’”.

Synopsis

Lee Hazlewood was born July 9, 1929, in Mannford, Oklahoma. After starting his career as a radio disc jockey in the 1950s, he started his own recording label and had early success as the producer. He released a solo albumin 1963, before collaborating with Sinatra on nine albums and four singles. He later moved to Sweden, where he continued to release his own recordings before retiring in 1977.
