Mullah Dadullah

Afghan guerrilla commander Mullah Dadullah joined the Taliban Army during the Soviet occupation. He was killed by U.S.-led coalition forces in 2007.

Synopsis

Afghan guerrilla commander Mullah Dadullah was born c. 1966 in Uruzgan province. He joined the Taliban Army during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan in the 1980s. Even after his leg was blown off by a land mine in 1995, Dadullah continued to fight for Taliban control of the country. He was killed by U.S.-led coalition forces in 2007.
