Stuart Collett
Stuart Collett was a Christian minister and a survivor of the Titanic disaster.
Synopsis
Stuart Collett was born January 8, 1887. A student of divinity, 25-year-old Stuart Collett embarked on the Titanic at Southampton on April 10, 1912. After the great ship hit an iceberg, he negotiated a seat on lifeboat 9 by claiming to be in charge of two young women. After his rescue, Collett returned to England, married and had three children. He died on May 8, 1941.
