Synopsis

As a young man, Moshe Dayan (born May 20, 1915) joined the Haganah—an illegal Jewish defense force—and was imprisoned by British authorities. After serving in Israel's 1948 war of independence, he led the invasion of Egypt's Sinai Peninsula in 1956.
